The best part about GRID, is also one of it’s biggest challenges. It’s a team sport. For GRID 6, this means 6 different schedules, personalities, opinions, and attention spans must come together to perform. That does not happen by itself. Someone on the team must step up to organize, plan, and bring the team together.
This person (sometimes more than one) certainly spends more time and attention than the rest of the team, but usually has an exercise or two in patience and understanding as well. It is not easy to do effectively, and if it is missing, often results in the team having a tough time or even falling apart as challenges arise. Challenges are a guarantee in anything team based. This is part of what makes it so rewarding.
So if you know who this person is on YOUR team, and you appreciate the efforts they put forth to make your team happen, lets take a moment and recognize and appreciate them!

If you are this person (you know who you are) be proud of your leadership and effort. We, at the Florida Grid League, thank you for your efforts and go-get-em approach as well. Without you taking charge and making things happen, we don’t have teams to play the best sport in the world.
