Grid League 2026 – Palms vs Breakers: South Beach Wins Its First of the Season, 18-17

The South Beach Palms lost Jessica Plasencia to a leg injury in the opening race and burned their super wildcard mid-match to cover it. They beat the Palm Beach Breakers 18-17 anyway, at American Dream in New Jersey, for the first South Beach win of the season.

Brett Henry closed the Sprint Relay to finish it.

“You got to be able to change things on the fly,” Clark Lawson said.

South Beach finished the regular season 2-2, one place outside the playoff cut on Season Rank Total. The full table is on the standings page.
