Francis Nuzzo represents bodyweight specialist #11 for the New York Wolves, his athleticism forged at Blackbear Athletics in West Babylon, New York. Blackbear has built a reputation as a pipeline for competitive fitness, with their teams qualifying for the CrossFit Games and regional competitions, establishing the facility as a serious training ground on Long Island.
The bodyweight specialist position demands a very specific kind of athlete: someone who moves their own frame through space with maximum efficiency. That’s what Nuzzo does for the Wolves, handling the gymnastics elements and explosive bodyweight movements that make or break a Grid race.
