Early Life and College Athletics

Born and raised in Cape Coral, Florida, Sedona’s passion for sports began at an early age. She first made her mark on the soccer field, showcasing her agility, speed, and attacking agility. Initially playing for Southeastern University, she later transferred to Evangel University, where she donned the No. 41 jersey as a forward for the women’s soccer team.

Her collegiate career was highlighted by clutch performances, including a game-winning goal against Culver-Stockton College in October 2020. With each match, she proved to be a dynamic offensive force, leaving an indelible impact on Evangel University’s soccer program.

The Shift to CrossFit

While soccer remained a significant chapter of her athletic career, Sedona eventually set her sights on the world of CrossFit, a sport that demands exceptional endurance, power, and mental toughness. Transitioning from team sports to the individual battleground of functional fitness, she wasted no time making her presence felt.

She trained across several top-tier CrossFit gyms, including CrossFit Sabal Park, CrossFit Salvation, and CrossFit 727, steadily climbing the ranks of elite competitors. Her ascent in the CrossFit Open has been nothing short of remarkable:

  • 2021: Ranked 1,712th worldwide
  • 2022: Improved to 1,667th worldwide
  • 2023: Surged to 583rd worldwide
  • 2024: Reached 424th worldwide and 108th in the North America East region
  • 2025: Currently ranked 666th worldwide and 169th in North America East

Her performance in the CrossFit Quarterfinals further cements her standing as an elite athlete, with continuous improvements each year, finishing 553rd worldwide in 2024.

Dominating the Florida Grid League

Sedona’s speed and explosive power were further showcased in the Florida Grid League, where she competed for the SWFL Sharks in 2023. Her fierce competitiveness was on full display in one of the most exhilarating moments of the league, a Burpee-Over-Bar Ringer Point race where she exhibited sheer agility and endurance, leaving fans in awe.

Beyond the Competition

Whether on the soccer field, the CrossFit floor, or the GRID League, she embraces every challenge with a relentless work ethic and an insatiable hunger to improve. She has transformed from a collegiate soccer star into a rising CrossFit powerhouse, proving that adaptability, perseverance, and determination can propel an athlete to new heights.
