The 90kg King: How Tyler Davis Became Strongman’s Most Decorated Champion

Tyler Davis has already won more world titles than most strongmen dream of. The 5’9″, 210-pound phenom from Grand Bay, Alabama, captured the 2022 Official Strongman Games World Championship at 90kg, the same year he claimed the Ultimate Strongman 90kg crown. Since then, Davis has reeled off consecutive titles: back-to-back Pro Strongman League 90kg championships in 2024 and 2025, followed by dual Arnold accolades (the prestigious Arnold Strongman Worlds and the Amateur World Championship, both in 2025). His nickname, “The Alabama Hammer,” fits the profile, relentless, unyielding, practically unstoppable.

The South Beach Palms Strength Specialist arrived as a new member of the Grid League fresh off an appearance on Beast Games Season 2, which premiered on Amazon Prime in January 2026. Before that, he was already a fixture among the world’s elite at 90kg, finishing runner-up at the 2023 Official Strongman Games and claiming third-place finishes in both 2024 and 2025. Davis isn’t just another strongman with flashy numbers. He holds a BA in English from the University of South Alabama and an MBA, the kind of cerebral athlete who can dissect competition the way he dominates in it.

What sets Davis apart is the depth of his hardware. Six confirmed world titles across multiple prestigious organizations put him in rare company. Few athletes can claim championships at the Arnold level, the Pro League level, and the Official Strongman Games level in the same career arc. Fewer still can do it while maintaining the consistency Davis has shown over the past four years. His social media (@thebamahamma) gives fans glimpses into his training philosophy and competing mindset, two things that clearly work.

Davis takes the Grid with something of a power couple already established there. His wife, Megan Davis, is herself a world-champion strongwoman competing for South Beach Palms. The pairing isn’t a marketing ploy; it’s a genuine meeting of elite athletes who understand the demands of elite strength sports. Together, they represent not just individual star power, but a household name in the strongman world. That kind of talent density, two elite competitors on the same roster, is precisely what makes South Beach Palms a serious Grid League contender.
