The Florida Grid League’s 4th announced team of the 2017 Season team hails from Orlando and has been acquired by a trio of companies passionate about fitness, sports and the Orlando community. The FGL Season will consist of GRID teams representing cities in Florida competing in a regular Season, Playoffs, and Championship for a $20k Grand Prize. Learn more about the FGL Season here.
The Orlando team joins the Tampa Bay Brigade in the Northern Conference and the Miami Freaks and Palm Beach Elite in the Southern Conference. They will soon be announcing their name and branding. There are at least two more teams joining the League for the 2017 Season that are also soon to be announced.
There will be 5 primary team leaders coming together to manage the team. They state of the opportunity:
Our primary goal for the team is to provide a fun and extremely rewarding experience for our athletes by being part of a highly competitive and organized sports team. We also see this as an opportunity to strengthen our local community by providing an exciting team to support.

Tony has 10+ years’ experience as an Entrepreneur, owning and operating several businesses, and is currently the Director of Business Development as well as Co-Owner at MyoFix Therapy and Y.noT Apparel. He is a Military Veteran having served in the U.S. Marine Corps where he was a member of the All-Marine Boxing Team and a 9 time Golden Gloves Champion. In addition to his boxing career, Tony was also an All-American wrestler.

Dr. Rivera is also an Entrepreneur at heart, having been involved in several start up businesses including a Surgical Center, Compound Pharmacy, and Multi-Specialty Medical Group.

Coach Vic is also a Military Veteran having served in the U.S. Army. He started his fitness career as a Master Fitness Trainer while in the U.S. Army, where over the course of 9 years he created several training programs for the various units he served in. He served as the Director of Training at CrossFit MDI until late 2014 at which time he decided to pursue his dream of owning his own business and successfully opened CrossFit Troika where he remains owner and head coach.
