Grid League 2026 – Breakers vs Palms: Palm Beach Drops a One-Point Match at Home, 17-18

The Palm Beach Breakers lost 18-17 to the South Beach Palms at American Dream in New Jersey, with Brett Henry closing the Sprint Relay for South Beach.

South Beach played most of it short-handed. The Palms lost Jessica Plasencia to a leg injury in the opening race and spent their super wildcard mid-match to cover the gap.

It was the second loss of the season for Palm Beach, on top of a week one defeat to the Southwest Florida Sharks, and the second Breakers match in three to be settled by a single point.

Palm Beach finished the regular season 2-2 and seeded third in the East. The Breakers play a conference semifinal at the championship on October 3 and 4 in Lakeland.
