Grid League 2026 – Flight vs Wolves: Carolina Falls 21-14 to a Fellow Expansion Side

The Carolina Flight hosted the New York Wolves at American Dream in New Jersey in a match between two expansion teams that had yet to win in 2026. New York took it 21-14, closing on the Sprint Relay through Daniel Lynne.

Carolina had claimed its own first race win as a franchise earlier in the season, in Lakeland against Houston.

Carolina finished its first season 0-4. The record undersells the year. The Flight came into 2026 as a late addition with a fraction of the runway every other club had to recruit and train, and put a full roster on the Grid for a full season against teams that had been building for years.
