Pembroke Pines, Freakin CrossFit.

OVERVIEW

The Fort Lauderdale Lions vs Miami Freaks is one of the most storied and intense rivalries in the Florida Grid League’s short history.

In all of the matchups between these two teams, only one did not come down to the last race. They are well-coached and talented teams that always bring it when they face each other.

The Freaks female roster is full and experienced and features some League stars such as Paula Leyes Blum and Winter Rodriguez. On the male side they will be getting a shot in the arm with the addition of Ivan Gaitan and Frantz Petit-papa who were not available or limited for the Season Opener.

The Lions will be missing two of their best players in Laura Sanchez and Mario Santaella but will be adding a female powerhouse that had missed the Season opener in Christine Middleton known for her 265lb clean and jerk in the CrossFit Semis.

This is sure to be a heated matchup, as it always is, and should not be missed.
