High School and Collegiate Track and Field athlete. Attended UF on full scholarship for Track and Field. Suffered a knee injury just before joining Crossfit back around 2007/2008 playing football. Once cleared from doc I joined a Crossfit gym and became hooked. Fell in love with the barbell on day one. Few years later seen something about Grid (NPFL) and began to look into it. I knew I wanted to do Grid because I could focus on doing what I was good at. Met Mather’s a short time later at a Crossfit comp in Miami where he gave me info and we remained in contact until the first FGL match back in 2015. I played my first match and wanted more. I continued to work on just cycling weight and lifting heavy in hopes of doing the 2016 NPGL combine. When Grid 6 Ft. Myers came along I found a team and played. When Grid 6 Miami came along I put a team together and coached my team to a 3rd place finish. It was their first time ever on the Grid and my first time in the coaches box. To keep the Grid life going I decided to try the Palm Beach Elite Combine in hopes of making the team. In between Grid matches I withdrew from the Crossfit world and entered the Olympic Lifting world. I have only done 2 comps but the first one I won and the 2nd one (American Open Series 2) I placed 3rd overall and 3rd in the snatch. I also qualified for the American Open Series Finale in Cali this coming Dec. 2017.
