Born in Alaska, but raised in Ocala, Coach V has been a traveler all her life.
After graduating high school, she traveled to Tucson, AZ to complete her studies in Veterinary Technology. This is where she first discovered CrossFit in 2013. She managed to lose 60 pounds in the process.
Eventually she developed a passion for Olympic Weightlifting, and competed exclusively in that specialty for 18 months. This is where she began her coaching career.
Besides the gym, Coach V loves spending time with her friends and family doing outdoor activities, such as paddleboarding and hiking. She also enjoys traveling, calligraphy, a good cider and is an avid true crime novel reader. She has 3 furbabies, Chief, Cider and Zero**
